Mercedes Geneva press report

Mercedes has the major Geneva-news ten days ago announced it seeps at some press day by always some small news. Thus, the brand has the C 220 CDI and E 250 CDI made a good deal more economical.
The C 220 CDI now consumes an average of 4.8 liters diesel per 100 kilometer.
It seems a little improvement but CO2 emissions drop despite everything from 127 to 119 grams per kilometer.
If you as a manufacturer with such a volume model that brings about good.

The E 250 CDI diesel goes from 5.8 liters to 4.9 liters per 100 kilometer. i.e. from 154 to 129 grams per kilometer.
The 2.1 four cylinder twin turbo diesel has a lighter crankshaft, an improved oil pressure system and there is a start-stop system on.
The C 220 CDI develops 170 Horsepower, the E 250 CDI has the same engine but with 204 Horsepower.
The big news is obviously the Salon Style F800 concept.
